2024 Final Notes
The University of Iowa softball team played 46 games this season finishing with a record of 18-28 and 6-17 in the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes missed the cut for the 2024 Big Ten Tournament finishing the season in 14th place. Junior Rylie Moss finished sixth in the conference hitting .390 on the season.

IOWA CITY, Iowa — An AMBER Alert has been issued for a 15-year-old girl in Iowa City. Ophelia Barton was last seen on June 10 in Iowa City. Officials describe Ophelia as white, standing 5-feet tall and weighing 80 pounds. Ophelia has brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a short-sleeved Disney shirt and red shorts.
Johnson County cities continue discussion on Forevergreen Road intersection
TIFFIN, Iowa (KCRG) - Officials from three different cities in Johnson County say one intersection on Forevergreen Road is frustrating. It connects to Tiffin on the west and to North Liberty and Coralville on the east side of the four-way. One frustration they claim is the indirect route it takes drivers from any given direction.
