Sewing Sisters to host annual quilt show, July 26-27
The Sewing Sisters at Blackgum Harvestime Church are excited to announce and host their 15th annual Quilts of Past and Present quilt show, Friday, July 26, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held at the church’s Family Center, located at 451558 E. 0980 Road, seven miles north of Vian.

Roland High School did not have to look far to find the successor for football coach Austin Cantrell, who played his high school football with the Rangers and left this summer to take a coaching job at Rogers (Ark.)
