An alleged bank robber and carjacker is walking free, and Delaware State Police hope you can help them change that. 53-year-old Timothy Halsey gave a note demanding cash to a teller at the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union on Quintillo Drive in Bear Saturday morning, ransacked some employees' property and ran with the money he stole to a nearby Indian restaurant, where he carjacked a gray 2020 Honda Odyssey minivan and drove off, police said.

A forensic review commissioned by the state Department of Elections has uncovered significant improprieties in the campaign finances of Delaware's lieutenant governor, who is seeking the Democratic nomination for governor.The elections department hired Pennsylvania-based Forensic Litigation Consultants in January amid widespread scrutiny of Bethany Hall-Long's campaign finances. DSU launches program to train elder care workforce
Delaware State University will establish a program that could expand the available workforce to take care of the growing aging population in Kent and Sussex Counties. Under an initiative announced Friday, DSU's Wesley College of Health and Behavioral Sciences will work with Education, Health and Research International in creating a "Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program."
