Salisbury Police Investigate Body Found at Burger King Dumpster
SALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury Police are investigating a body found in the vicinity of a dumpster behind the Burger King on South Salisbury Blvd. The Police Department confirmed to WBOC that an adult man was found dead. Judge refuses to dismiss lawsuit in battle over pop icon Prince's estate
A Delaware judge has refused to dismiss a lawsuit filed by former business advisers to the late pop music icon Prince against two of his siblings and other heirs in a dispute over his estate.The judge on Friday also agreed with plaintiffs L. Londell McMillan and Charles Spicer Jr. that an agreement purporting to replacing them as managers of a limited liability company established by three siblings was invalid.Prince died of an accidental fentanyl overdose in 2016. Lewes PD Arrest 2 on Drug & Weapons Offenses
Lewes Police with assistance from the DEA Southern Delaware Task Force conducted surveillance of a Rehoboth Beach area man which ended on June 25th with arrest. Police say 35 year old Gregory Lawson-Hixon was known to be active in illegal drug sales in the City of Lewes and during the surveillance he was seen with a large quantity of drugs and stopped after entering a vehicle driven by another subject. Lawson-Hixon was in possession of one pound of marijuana, 106 Amphetamine pills, 140 Oxycodone pills, 100 Xanax pills, 7.5 grams of a mixture of heroin and fentanyl, a digital scale and $4700 in cash. Lawson-Hixon was charged with 16 felony level violations and is being held at SCI in default of $70,000 cash bail.

Rehoboth Beach Man Arrested on Drug & Weapons Charges after Traffic Stop
Early Friday morning Dewey Beach Police conducted a traffic stop on Coastal Highway at Scarborough Avenue Extended in Rehoboth Beach after police observed vehicle violations. During the stop police conducted a thorough investigation and found a large fixed-blade knife in the glove compartment. Police also found a significant amount of marijuana, suspected promethazine and drug packaging paraphernalia in the vehicle.
