Roxbury Police Warn Residents About Internet Scam
ROXBURY, NJ - Township residents should not send money in response to an email scam that is going around, warns the Roxbury Police Department.The department said it has “received a few calls from residents” who reported receiving threatening emails that attempt to gain credibility by including the recipients' phone numbers, addresses and Google Earth images of their houses.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTERThe senders of the email claim to have secretly installed software on residents' computers that allows them to track Internet browsing.
