Steady growth, big successes: Downtown in MadTown returning to Madison
Since 2018, the Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce has brought music to downtown Madison with its Downtown in MadTown event series. It's returning again this year with six free family-friendly shows set for Tuesdays in the second half of the summer, each with separate performers and themes. Each performance starts at 6 p.m., but many people arrive early to set up their own chairs or check out the food trucks and vendor tables.

William Shatner is about to boldly go to somewhere he's never gone before. Get ready Star Trek fans, Captain James T. Kirk will soon be making a trek to Sioux Falls. That's right, William Shatner, the actor made famous for his role as the legendary Captain of the Starship Enterprise will soon be transported to the Sioux Empire to headline the 43rd annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner and Fundraiser in October.

Cattle Group Celebrates Record-Setting 25th Anniversary Convention
DEADWOOD, S.D. – Nearly 500 predominantly cow/calf producers, cattle backgrounders, and feeders from over 25 states recently gathered to celebrate R-CALF USA’s 25th Anniversary Convention in Deadwood. SD Caring for Canines hosts fundraiser at Braeburn Dog Park
RAPID CITY, S.D. - On July 6 and 7, Braeburn Dog Park in Rapid City became a hub of activity as a local organization raised money for dogs in need. South Dakota Caring for Canines is a non-profit organization that aims to provide rescue, shelter and veterinary care for abused and neglected dogs through fundraising efforts. The organization has set up a booth at the park to sell homemade dog treats and toys, with all proceeds going to support shelters that require assistance.
