Free Fair begins on Sunday
The Geary County Free Fair opens on Sunday. The location for the Free Fair is at 1025 South Spring Valley Road on the west side of Junction City. Sunday the 21st activities will kick off with the Pedal Pull at 5 p.m. and the 4-H Horse Show at 6 p.m.
United Way seeks volunteers for Stuff the Bus
United Way of Junction City-Geary County is is hosting their 14th Annual Stuff the Bus drive. This event provides school supplies directly to the schools so that each child can start the year with everything that they need. Supplies collected will go directly to the schools in USD 475, St. Xavier, and USD 473.
Carol Worley Achieves Second Hole-in-One at Clay Center Country Club
Carol Worley, a golfer at the Clay Center Country Club, celebrated a significant milestone last Sunday by achieving her second hole-in-one. The impressive feat occurred during a Sunday scramble (a mixed event involving both men and women).
