Louisiana Versus Litter: The Litter Hotline
It's no surprise that Shreveport has been in a battle against litter, earlier this year Shreveport Police Department announced they had made their first litter-related arrest. Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser, along with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF), and Keep Louisiana Beautiful (KLB) are launching a statewide program to fight back against litter. Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser says "We are ramping up litter enforcement in Louisiana with support from the State Police, Wildlife and Fisheries agents, and local law enforcement. It's important that we educate those guilty of littering and work together to keep Louisiana Beautiful."

Louisiana caretaker found guilty of shaking toddler to death
SHREVEPORT, La. (TCN) -- A woman has been convicted of killing a toddler she was caring for in her home in 2020. The Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office announced that a jury found 42-year-old Tatianna Burns guilty on Thursday, July 11, of second-degree murder in connection with the death of an 18-month-old child, identified by the Shreveport-Bossier City Advocate as Angel Wong. Burns is set to appear in court again on July 23 and faces a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence.

Viewers of KSLA Television in Shreveport witnessed a rather strange event during the television station's noon broadcast on Wednesday. It was on that broadcast that a man with unusually high hair uttered two words that just don't make sense in Louisiana during the month of July. I actually saw this with my own eyes and heard Austin Evans, that's the high hair guy, say the words "Cold Front".

If you Google the question "How many Costco stores are there in Louisiana" you will find out that, according to "the Google" there are three locations of the giant warehouse-style retailer.
