Scientists have been warning us that chemicals 'linked to hormonal imbalances' such as BPA can contaminate the liquid inside the bottle.

The woman behind a Jane Doe sexual assault lawsuit against Marylin Manson has publicly identified herself as Bianca Allaine Kyne. Kyne sued Manson, born Brian Warner, in 2023, and accuses him of abusing her at age 16 in New Orleans in 1995 and in New York in 1999 after she turned 18.
Shreveport Police Investigating Hearne Ave Homicide
SHREVEPORT, LA Shreveport Police Investigate Homicide. On July 15th, 2024, at approximately 11:45 p.m., Shreveport Police Patrol Officers responded to a shots fired call at Westover Street and Velva Street. While responding, officers observed two vehicles leaving the scene in opposite directions on Hearne Avenue. Officers attempted to stop both vehicles, but neither yielded to emergency lights or sirens.

SHREVEPORT, LA - Parents and students in schools across Louisiana are on notice today about new rules for cell phone use in schools. State lawmakers passed a measure tightening the rules. Senator Beth Mizell of Franklinton pushed for passage of Senate Bill 207 which won approval unanimously in the Senate and passed 84 to 13 on the House floor.

Henderson to serve life-plus prison term
SHREVEPORT, La. - A Shreveport woman who shot her husband and then doused his body with gasoline must serve life in prison, and then some, a Caddo district judge has ruled. Charlene Henderson, 45, found guilty in June of the May 16, 2022 second-degree murder of Larry Clark, also 45, was sentenced Tuesday to the mandatory life term. She was sentenced to another 20 years in prison, to be served consecutively, for conviction of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Another very warm and muggy night ahead with temperatures holding in the mid and upper 70s. Wednesday will be the last day of extreme heat & humidity as a rare July cold front starts to approach from the north during the afternoon. Highs will still climb into the mid to upper 90s before the front arrives with feels like temperatures likely topping 105. By late afternoon, storms will start to develop along the I-30 corridor and then these storms will overspread the rest of the region as we head into the evening and overnight hours.
