Mississippi man arrested on murder charges
GREENWOOD - A Louisiana grand jury has indicted a Mississippi man on murder charges related to an argument on an interstate onramp that escalated into a fatal shooting. Amanvir Singh, 34, a resident of Flowood, has been charged with second-degree murder following the fatal shooting of a truck driver during a road rage incident on Interstate 20 in Greenwood.

Man pleads guilty federal charges of illegal machine gun possession
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A Shreveport man was sentenced in federal court after pleading guilty to illegally possessing a machine gun. According to the United States Attorney of Louisiana Western District, the conviction of L’Mykal Rashard Hicks, 22, was related to an April 10, 2022, arrest related to a traffic stop.
