Man goes missing in Montco, last spotted in Philly, family says
Family members are searching for a man who they say went missing in Montgomery County and was last spotted in Philadelphia. Paul James Asman, 23, was near 321 Morris Road in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, back on July 19, 2024, when he ran into the woods near Wissahickon Creek and Germantown Academy, his family said. Family members said he then boarded a train from Ambler, Pennsylvania, to Jefferson Station in Philadelphia. Woman charged with carrying concealed gun during traffic stop in Newark
A Wilmington woman was arrested after police found a handgun in her car during a traffic stop in Newark, authorities said. The incident happened just after 4 p.m. July 24 on East Chestnut Hill Road, according to Lt. Andrew Rubin, a spokesman for the Newark Police Department. An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense and, while speaking to the driver, learned there was a gun in the vehicle. The officer searched the vehicle and found a handgun concealed under the driver's seat. The driver, 26-year-old Summerit Davis, was charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, along with traffic offenses. She was released on $2,600 unsecured bail.
