According to Kroger, from July 10 to July 23, customers can help students by donating a $10 school supply kit or their choice monetary amount. Their goal this year is to help more than 26,000 students across the DFW, East Texas and Northwest Louisiana area by raising $260,000.

“For years, our incredibly generous Kroger customers have joined with our enthusiastic associates in giving kids, teachers and school districts a much-needed head start throughout the communities we serve,” Keith Shoemaker, president of Kroger Dallas Division, said.

Students in pre-selected school districts will receive purchased school supply kits, that include pencils, paper, glue and a notebook, a release said.
