LITTLE ROCK — Tipton & Hurst announced Josie Hurst will join the team as brand strategy manager, making her the fourth generation of the Hurst family to join the 138-year-old family-owned and operated florist. NORTH LITTLE ROCK — The New Hope Baptist Church Social Service Ministry will give food away on Thursday, July 25 at 1821 Edmonds St North Little Rock. Under the leadership of Pastor Dr. George Shears III, New Hope Baptist serves the community of North Little Rock with food giveaways on the fourth Thursday of the month. Last year, they served 1,752 families and provided 83,797 pounds of food. Members donated 2,124 volunteer hours.

Volunteers take to the field at 13th annual Watermelon Crawl

TEXARKANA — Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones arrived at a federal court in Texarkana Monday morning for a paternity case he has been fighting for the last two years. Jones countersued Alexandra Davis for breach of contract after she publicly claimed he was her father.
