New family owned Hardware Store opens in Terrace Heights

The store is a new build on Butterfield Road at Terrace Heights Drive, adding to the existing store in Selah that has been serving the Yakima community for 55 years. New hotel designed for longer-term stays planned near I-90/SR 17 interchange in Moses Lake
MOSES LAKE - Hogback Development out of Yakima plans to build a 90-room hotel that is designed to accommodate 20+ night stays. The facility will be called StudioRes by Marriott. StudioRes hotels are outfitted full extended apartment stay rooms. The hotel will be situated adjacent to to the south of Hogback's Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott on Kittelson Road. Guests can book stays as short as one night, but the rooms have full kitchens and expanded laundry facilities for those with reservations that span three weeks or more.
Developer: MOD Pizza skips out on 10-year lease in Moses Lake; commercial space available again
MOSES LAKE – MOD Pizza will not be coming to Moses Lake after all, despite previously securing a lease agreement for a location in the city. Chris Waddle, a commercial developer with Yakima-based Hogback Development, confirmed on Thursday that MOD Pizza has decided not to proceed with its 10-year lease agreement, despite being legally obligated to do so. The pizzeria was slated to occupy a 2,660-square-foot space next to Jersey Mike’s, also owned by Hogback.
