    Logan’s Fountain Place Cinema 8 to receive state-of-the-art upgrades

    LOGAN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Logan’s Fountain Place Cinema 8 has announced that the establishment will be closing its doors temporarily later this week to begin a series of upgrades to the theater.

    According to a Monday morning announcement from Fountain Place 8 Cinema, Friday, April 5, 2024, will mark the beginning of a temporary closure period as a number of upgrades and changes are implemented over the next month.

    These upgrades will include the introduction of state-of-art recliner seating, Dolby Atmos sound technology, and ButtKicker sound haptics.

    “We are committed to providing you with the ultimate entertainment experience, and these enhancements will ensure that every moment you spend with us is nothing short of extraordinary. Our team is working diligently to complete these upgrades,” said Fountain Place Cinema 8. “We apologize for any inconvenience caused by our temporary closure, but we assure you that the wait will be well worth it. Get ready to immerse yourself in unparalleled comfort and audio-visual excellence when we unveil our upgraded theater! Thank you for your continued support and patience. We can’t wait to welcome you back for an unforgettable movie-going experience.”

    The changes were first announced in November, with details of the upgrades having been disclosed and earmarked for the Spring 2024 period.

    Fountain Place Cinema 8 has indicated that the facility is anticipated to reopen in May, “just in time for Memorial Weekend 2024.”
