Streets in Hinton to be closed for flood cleanup through the afternoon

HINTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Multiple streets in Hinton closed yesterday due to flash flooding following heavy rain. Some of those streets are still closed today for cleanup.

According to Summers County 911, yesterday, flash flooding shut down James Street and portions of 3rd, 4th, and 7th Avenues in Hinton.

Two streets will be closed for flood cleanup through this afternoon.

Ballengee Street and James Street will be closed until late this afternoon for cleanup, according to Summers County 911.
