    Discover Nature Day June 1 at Seneca Rocks Discovery Center

    SENECA ROCKS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Join Monongahela National Forest and its partners on Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., for Discover Nature Day at the Seneca Rocks Discovery Center .

    It’s a day of family-friendly fun and learning for all ages, featuring nature-based interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and activities. Don’t miss the live snakes, birds of prey, and native fish!

    This event is made possible in partnership with the Appalachian Forest National Heritage Area (AFNHA), Eastern Forests Interpretive Association (ENFIA), and many others.

    Mandy Harmon, Assistant Director of Seneca Rocks Discovery Center, said, “Discover Nature Day is one of our biggest events of the year! We’re thrilled to showcase all kinds of fun and educational outdoor activities. We couldn’t do it without the involvement of our valued partners, including AFNHA and ENFIA. Come and discover nature with us.”

    For more information, call the Seneca Rocks Discovery Center at (304) 567-2827. They are located at 13 Roy Gap Road, just off U.S. 33, south of the U.S. 33/State Route 28 intersection in Seneca Rocks.

    been there many times. I urge everyone to go and see it. it's breathtaking. I lived 62 miles from there. and John Denver sit on top of the rock and wrote COUNTRY ROADS
