    Artist, CU Alum to hold ‘Common Boundaries’ exhibit at Concord campus

    ATHENS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Concord University has announced an upcoming “Common Boundaries” art exhibit to be presented by artist and Concord University alum Dr. Dimeji Onafuwa (Dimeji).

    A Nigerian-born designer, researcher, and artist, Dr. Onafuwa has offered his knowledge over the years at a variety of speaking engagements including conferences, podcasts, and globally facilitated workshops on topics including alternative economics, transition design, diversity and inclusion in design, and of course, art.

    Dr. Onafuwa’s exhibits have seen been displayed in an array of cities throughout the nation including Charlotte, North Carolina, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to name a few.

    The upcoming “Common Boundaries” art exhibit will be hosted at the Concord University Arthur Butcher Gallery found at the Alexander Fine Arts Center from August 19, 2024, to October 21, 2024.

    The exhibit will be open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with an artist reception scheduled for August 22, 2024, at 6:00pm. Dr. Onafuwa will additionally be hosting a lecture on August 22, 2024, beginning at 6:45pm in room FA200.
