    Nearly 15,000 without power in West Virginia

    WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – As of 8 AM Friday, nearly 15,000 customers are without power following the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby.

    The bulk of the outages are being reported in the Eastern Panhandle and Pocahontas County.

    2,568 customers are currently without power in Pocahontas County.

    Statewide, 14,450 customers are without power.

    Here are the current outages by power company:

    Appalachian Power: 50 outages

    FirstEnergy: 14,400 outages
