    State Fair of West Virginia continues with exciting events on day two

    FAIRLEA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The State Fair of West Virginia is in full swing as it kicks off day two.

    Fairgoers can look forward to a jam-packed day of entertainment, competitions, and family fun.

    The gates opened bright and early at 8 AM, with carnival rides starting at 11 AM and the West Virginia Lottery building welcoming visitors at noon.

    Entertainment Lineup:

    FirstEnergy Live Wire Demo: 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m.

    Catherine Hickland: 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m.

    Hot Glass Academy: 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m.

    Live Shark Encounter Show: 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m.

    Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show: 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m.

    Dennis Lee: 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m.

    Butterfly Kingdom: Open all day from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

    Open Horse Show:

    Fairgoers can also enjoy the Open Horse Show with events starting at 9 AM, including youth and mini horse competitions.

    The West Virginia High School Rodeo also makes a return at 12 PM and 5 PM, followed by more horse show events in the afternoon.

    West Virginia Building Activities:

    Cooking Demonstrations: 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m.

    Table Setting Competition: 10:00 a.m.

    Wild & Wonderful Wing Competition: 4:00 p.m.

    Unclaimed Property Auction: 5:00 p.m.

    Grandstand Headliner:

    As the sun sets, the Grandstand comes alive at 8 PM with a performance by Grammy Award-winning artist Lil Jon, joined by special guest Landon Cube.
