LOGAN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College announced last week that SWVCTC employee Zachary has been named as a 2024 inductee into the Man High School Football Hall of Fame.

A 2010 graduate of Man High School, Riggins is said to have exhibited remarkable skill and versatility as a high school student, having earned letters in multiple sports and putting on a particularly exceptional display on the baseball field. His efforts would bring him All-State honors for both his junior and senior years, as well as recognition as part of the All-Tournament State Baseball team.

Riggins would attend WVU Institute of Technology upon graduation where he would earn a BS in Accounting along with a certificate in Fraud Examination. During his time at WVU Tech he played a pivotal role in the revitalization of the institute’s Followship of Christian Athletes program and would conclude his college career by earning his MBA.

Following graduation, Riggins stepped into a role at Southern West Virginia Community Technical College, serving as Controller in the college’s Finance Department where he utilizes knowledge gained over the years through his extensive studies.

“Zachary Evan Riggins’s induction into the 2024 Man High School Football Hall of Fame is a testament to his outstanding contributions to sports, his community, and his enduring legacy as a Hillbilly,” said Southern West Virginia Community & Technical College of the induction.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Zachery Riggins enjoys life at home where he resides with his wife of over ten years, Racheal, and their two children, Reece and Addison, in Cyclone, WV.
