What’s happening during day three at the State Fair of West Virginia

FAIRLEA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The State Fair of West Virginia continues today, Saturday, August 10, 2024, offering another full day of entertainment and activities for visitors of all ages.

Sponsored by UScellular, the fair gates open at 8:00 AM, with carnival rides starting at 11:00 AM and the West Virginia Lottery opening at 12:00 PM.

The Grandstand will feature the Buckin’ B Bull Ride at 7:00 PM, followed by a fireworks display at 10:30 PM.

Entertainment throughout the day includes performances by Catherine Hickland, the Hot Glass Academy, the Live Shark Encounter Show, Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, and The Goodson Boys.

Additionally, visitors can explore the Butterfly Kingdom and enjoy the Live Shark Encounter Display, open between shows.

The Open Horse Show starts at 9:00 AM, with academy classes at 12:00 PM, and another Open Horse Show session at 6:00 PM.

Over at the West Virginia Building, cooking demonstrations, the Chocolate Lovers Competition, and the Veggie 500 are scheduled throughout the day.

The Unclaimed Property Auction will take place at 5:00 PM.
