Academy Sports + Outdoors to open in Beckley next month

BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Academy Sports + Outdoors, a prominent retailer specializing in sporting goods and outdoor recreation, is set to open its first store in Beckley in September 2024.

The new location, situated in the Beckley Plaza Shopping Center at 301 Beckley Plaza, will span nearly 70,000 square feet and offer a wide range of sports and outdoor merchandise.

This will be Academy’s second store in West Virginia, joining the existing location in Barboursville.
