    Mercer County Commission to discuss Southern Regional Jail lawsuit at Tuesday meeting

    PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Mercer County Commissioners will discuss an array of planned agenda items during Tuesday’s regular session meeting including an announcement pertaining to a Southern Regional Jail lawsuit.

    The meeting of the Mercer County Commission is set to begin at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, and will see various agenda items touched on. These will include items within categorical subsections such as appointments and oaths of office, contracts/agreements/resolutions, estates, and funding requests.

    Agenda items of interested scheduled to see discussion during the session include updates pertaining the Mercer County Spay Neuter Clinic to be addressed by Commissioner Gene Buckner, a coyote warning for Mercer County to be addressed by Commission President Bill Archer , and more.
