Man pours three Twisted Teas and grass seed over woman during fight

BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A husband was charged after a physical altercation broke out; he slammed the female to the ground and poured three cans of Twisted Tea and a bag of grass seed over her.

On August 13, 2024, Beckley Police went to 201 Baker St. after receiving a report from a third party about a loud disturbance. The caller indicated they heard a woman screaming for help.

When police arrived, they spoke with the female victim. She explained that she had been in a physical fight with her husband, Roger Stowers Jr. The victim said that Mr. Stowers became angry when she spoke disrespectfully.

She reported that he threw her to the ground, choked her, and punched her in the lip. Additionally, the victim stated that while on the ground, Mr. Stowers poured three cans of Twisted Tea and a bag of grass seed over her.

Her lip was injured, and her shirt was torn down the front. Both her shirt and hair were soaked.

Police arrested Mr. Stowers and took him to the Beckley Police Department for processing. This incident took place in Beckley, Raleigh County , West Virginia.
