ALAMO, TN (LOOTPRESS) – A Labor Day visit to Safari Park in Crockett County took an unexpected turn for reality TV star Amy Slaton Halterman, known for her role on “1,000-Lb. Sisters.”

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies were met with a strong odor coming from a nearby vehicle.

The investigation led to the arrest of Amy Slaton Halterman and Brian Scott Lovvorn, who were in the vehicle at the time.

Both individuals face multiple charges, including illegal possession of Schedule I and Schedule VI substances, as well as two counts of child endangerment.

Halterman and Lovvorn were taken into custody and booked into the Crockett County Jail.

Authorities stress that the charges are accusations, and both defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
