(LOOTPRESS) – Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced a new costume collection in partnership with Spirit Halloween, the largest Halloween retailer in North America.

This collection draws inspiration from popular memes shared by both brands on social media. Chipotle is the first company to create costumes based on memes with Spirit Halloween .

A modern Halloween tradition involves social media users coming up with creative costume ideas, often featuring the signature Spirit Halloween costume bag. Two years ago, Chipotle joined this trend by posting a fun concept for a “Chipotle Fork” bodysuit. The brand later introduced a “Chipotle Napkin” costume, which generated over 700,000 interactions from fans. Now, Chipotle and Spirit Halloween are bringing back these memorable memes along with three brand-new costume designs for Halloween. The initial Chipotle costumes are available individually in sizes ranging from adult small to XL, with each bodysuit priced at $39.99 in the U.S. and Canada.

Chris Brandt, Chief Brand Officer at Chipotle, stated that the brand’s beloved Halloween event, Boorito, started with a burrito-themed costume contest and has now evolved with the launch of their first costume collection alongside Spirit Halloween. He added that, in addition to the bodysuits, fans can look forward to an exciting offer next month.

Beginning September 6, the five-costume collection will be exclusively available on www.spirithalloween.com for customers in the U.S. and Canada, as well as at select Spirit Halloween stores in Chicago, Denver, Egg Harbor Township, N.J., Los Angeles, and New York, while supplies last.

“We’re no strangers to memes at Spirit Halloween. Year after year, we are blown away by the passion and creativity we see from fans sharing their take on popular Spirit Halloween memes – and we’re beyond thrilled to be teaming up with Chipotle to bring some of those creations to life,” added Kym Sarkos , Executive Vice President at Spirit Halloween.
