    Police identify suspect who stole over $2,000 from elderly couple’s bank account

    MILTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Milton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a woman accused of stealing over $2,000 from an elderly couple’s bank account in late August.

    The suspect, initially unidentified, fraudulently withdrew the funds from the couple’s account.

    Thanks to efforts by the WV Fusion Center and the WV Intelligence Exchange, the suspect has been identified as Della Palestino.

    Arrest warrants have been filed against Palestino on multiple felony charges.

    Those charges include identity theft, forgery, uttering a forged document, and obtaining money by false pretense.

    The Milton Police Department is asking anyone with information about Palestino’s whereabouts to contact them at 304-743-9211 or call 911 and request to speak with an officer.
