Fall 2024 Pitch Southern West Virginia Business Idea Competition announced by WV Hive

BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – It was announced on Monday by the WV Hive that the Fall 2024 Pitch Southern West Virginia Business Idea Competition will make available over $5,000 in prizes which will be awarded to the top 5 of participants.

The deadline for competition applications has been set for 12:00pm on October 15, 2024. Collegiate Project Manager for WV Hive , Diana Woods, stated that the competition has been designed to prompt community members to exhibit entrepreneurship and innovation.

“The stages of the competition are designed to inspire innovation and entrepreneurship within the community. The competition offers budding entrepreneurs and startups the chance to showcase their groundbreaking ideas,” said Woods.

Applicants selected as one of the top 5 participants will partake in an in-person pitch at 5:30pm on November 14, 2024, at the West Virginia Institute of Technology Campus’s Life Sciences Building located in Beckley, West Virginia.
