WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS – (LOOTPRESS) – A belligerent woman who caused a violent attack on a male victim broke free of her handcuffs and ripp hobble.

In the early hours of August 18, officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Central Drive after a 911 call that a female was intoxicated and causing a violent altercation. The call came in at approximately 12:45 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers inside the residence, officers observed a man who had multiple injuries, including a deep laceration above his eyebrow. The victim was holding his eye, which had a large cut with skin hanging in front of it.

The alleged aggressor, Brandy Martinez, was found inside, rolling on the ground and screaming violently. The victim informed officers that Martinez, who was heavily intoxicated, had attacked him during an argument, leaving him with a cut eyebrow and several other injuries, including bruising and smaller cuts on his face. Despite his injuries, Wall refused medical attention.

As officers attempted to de-escalate the situation, Martinez became increasingly belligerent, cursing at the officers and physically resisting arrest. She charged at Officer McLendon, shoving him with her chest before officers restrained her. Even after being placed in handcuffs, Martinez continued to resist, forcing the officers to physically carry her to the patrol car as she refused to walk.

Once inside the vehicle, Martinez continued her violent outburst, kicking the cage and breaking free of her handcuffs. Despite attempts to restrain her using a ripp hobble, Martinez managed to break free again, continuing to kick and scream during the transport to the station.

Photographs were taken of his injuries. Martinez now faces multiple charges stemming from the altercation, including assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.

Yep, yep, yep, that's exactly the kind of person that caused us to invent jail. In first world societies, animals that don't behave get put in cages. Pretty simple to understand, in my opinion.
