BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Fashion with Passion, a thrift boutique run by the WISE Women’s Resource Center of Bluefield , celebrated their re-opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony over the weekend.

On hand for the ceremony were WISE employees Patti Peretti, Marjorie Smalls, and Kathy Muth who work to continue the work of the organization in helping women throughout the community. This may be accomplished by providing hygiene and personal items or clothes for job interviews and professional matters, or any other number of resources offered through the organization.

WISE was initially founded two decades ago by President Connie Saunders and her two daughters and stands for “Women in Search of Empowerment.” All proceeds made from the Fashion with Passion thrift boutique are used for the assistance of clients experiencing difficult circumstances.

“We are excited for WISE and thankful for the excellent work they’re doing to provide much needed services right here in our community,” said the Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias who were also present for Saturday’s Grand Re-Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.

Located at 511 Commerce Street in Bluefield, WV, Fashion with Passion is operational from 9:00am – 2:30pm Monday through Friday, and is looking to begin incorporating Saturday hours from 10:00 – 2:00pm.

Additional information on services and resources made available through the WISE Women’s Resource Center of Bluefield can be found at the WISE website .
