Raleigh County Commission to consider youth football grant

BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Raleigh County Commission will consider a grant to youth football organizations in Raleigh County at the commission’s upcoming Regular Session meeting.

The grant, if approved, would see $500 awarded to Raleigh West Football, $500 to Raleigh Southwest Football, $500 to Shady Spring Youth Football, and $500 to WV Mountaineer Youth Football.

The session is scheduled to begin at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, and will also see consideration of a new parking policy for Raleigh County employees, a pay request for the North Beckley PSD Piney View Sewer Project, and more.
