    Universal Orlando Resort announces temporary closures due to Hurricane Milton

    ORLANDO, FL (LOOTPRESS) – Universal Orlando Resort has announced operational changes in response to Hurricane Milton.

    Several attractions will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, October 9, and Thursday, October 10, as the resort takes precautions to ensure guest safety.

    On October 9, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Universal CityWalk will operate until 2 p.m. before closing, and will remain closed on October 10.

    Universal’s Volcano Bay will be shut down on both October 9 and October 10.

    The popular Halloween Horror Nights event at Universal Studios Florida is also canceled for these two days.

    However, the resort’s hotels will continue to remain open, with staff focusing on accommodating guests during this period.

    Universal Orlando Resort plans to fully reopen all attractions, including Halloween Horror Nights, on Friday, October 11, contingent on the impact of the storm.
