Greenbrier Hotel scheduled for auction, again

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Trustee’s Sale of real estate and personal property located in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, is scheduled to take place on October 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the front entrance of the Greenbrier County Courthouse in Lewisburg.

According to a legal advertisement posted on West Virginia Daily News, this sale follows a default under a Deed of Trust originally executed by the Greenbrier Hotel Corporation in 2014.

The property, located in the White Sulphur District, consists of approximately 60.5 acres of land along U.S. Route 60, near the Greenbrier Hotel. The sale includes all improvements, fixtures, and associated rights.

The sale will be conducted by J. Patrick Jones, Substitute Trustee, and will be cash-only on the day of the auction. The property is being sold in “AS IS” condition, and the trustee makes no guarantees regarding the condition or title of the real estate.

The buyer will be responsible for transfer taxes and any existing liens or encumbrances.
