Patty’s Blessings to host Thanksgiving Meal Kit Drive at Sophia VFW

SOPHIA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – It has been announced that Patty’s Blessings will be hosting a Thanksgiving Meal Kit Drive event this week at the Sophia VFW (Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States of America) location.

Scheduled to run from 7:00pm to 10:00pm on Friday, October 18, 2024, the event will take place at the VFW venue located at 1000 Midway Road and will feature drink specials throughout the evening. Local musician Thomas Danley will also be featured as part of the event, providing a special performance for those in attendance.

Food has been provided for the evening through donations from Padrinos Italian Restaurant and Beckley as well as from Malinda and Wade Coburn.

Admission for the event will be $3 – CashApp, Venmo, and PayPal will be accepted at the door only – or a can of turkey, pie filling, or a canned ham. All proceeds collected for admission will serve to benefit Patty’s Blessings and the assembling of Thanksgiving Meal Kits which will be distributed to Blessing Boxes throughout the Raleigh County area.
