LEWISBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man was arrested in Lewisburg following a disturbance at a local pub, where he refused to lease.

On October 13, 2024, at approximately 1:18 a.m., officers from the Lewisburg Police Department responded to a disturbance call originating from the Washington Street Pub , located at 1028 Washington Street East in Lewisburg, Greenbrier County, West Virginia. The call, placed by a pub staff member, reported a male individual, identified as Andrew V. Cadilli, causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the premises.

Upon arrival, Corporal Gideon M. Tate, accompanied by Officer M.B. Blankenship, spoke with the pub’s staff outside the establishment, where Cadilli was standing on the sidewalk. According to authorities, Cadilli, who showed visible signs of impairment and emitted a strong odor of alcohol, was asked to leave the property and provide identification. Despite repeated requests from law enforcement, Cadilli refused to identify himself, insisting that he was going to walk home.

Despite being informed of the consequences, Cadilli continued to refuse to cooperate with the officers’ lawful requests. As a result, he was placed under arrest for obstructing an officer and public intoxication . Following the arrest, Cadilli was processed at the Lewisburg Police Department and later transported to the Southern Regional Jail without further incident.
