Man, 71, dies after fall into ravine in Lorain County
ELYRIA, Ohio — A 71-year-old man was found dead Sunday at the bottom of a ravine in what police believe was an accidental fall. A news release from Elyria Police Capt. James Welsh says police were called to a residence on the 500 block of Washington Avenue just after 4:30 p.m. and were told the man was missing. The identity of the man has not been released.

County prisons will host "Rock the Yard" concert series in July
Three prisons in Lorain County will be stops for a concert series sponsored by True Freedom Ministries, a Cleveland nonprofit that focuses on reintegrating people in prison. The concerts will be hosted at Grafton Correctional Center, Grafton Reintegration Institution and Lorain Correctional Institution on July 24, 25 and 26, respectively, according to a news release. The concert series will visit eight prisons across Ohio this summer, including facilities in Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati.
