Grand Strand, Pee Dee animal shelters to host fee-free adoption events to help overcrowding
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Shelters across the Grand Strand and Pee Dee are rushing to make space for more animals. “The city has outgrown this building is the easiest way to put it,” said Dan Skurbe, a kennel attendant at the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach. “We need to serve the city and we don’t have enough space to do that right now.”
