Rock-throwing Leads to Damaged Vehicles, Charges
Dash cam footage led to two suspects facing charges for allegedly throwing rocks at moving cars, causing thousands of dollars in damages. Cameron Austin Rockwell, 24 and a 17 year old juvenile male allegedly threw rock at multiple vehicles along Strawberry Boulevard, Haynes Lennon highway and U.S. 74 Sunday, a report said. Rockwell is held under $150,000 secured bond on four counts of assault with a deadly weapon and two charges of property damage. His address was listed in jail documents as 245 Singletary Rd. Whiteville.
