He designed numerous looks including dresses for McCarthy, Siriano told E!, but had to design a new one for "The Little Mermaid" star when pipes burst and flooded his studio days before the event. "Everything was okay, but it wasn't perfect — and it has to be perfect on a night like tonight or they just won't wear it," Siriano said of McCarthy's original dress. "It's a big moment," he said of the design. "She's about to be in such an incredible film for Disney playing Ursula in 'The Little Mermaid,' how fabulous.
