Trouble in Paradise? Why Wasn't Travis Kelce with Taylor Swift at Grammys?

The world celebrated the 66th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night live from Crypto.com Area in Los Angeles. As expected, Taylor Swift was honored, including winning a Grammy for Album of the Year for "Midnights."

But while Swift was celebrating with friends, one person was missing whom many expected to see.

Swift accepted multiple awards and made multiple speeches thanking many people, but there was not one single mention of boyfriend Travis Kelce, who is preparing for Super Bowl LVIII with his Kansas City Chiefs teammates.

Kelce was also conspicuously absent from the awards show.

“It makes me unbelievably blown away that it makes some people happy who voted for this award, too,” Swift said. “All I want to do is keep doing this.”

While it's not necessarily surprising that Kelce wasn't in attendance. He's got the biggest game of his career coming up on Feb. 11 against the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas.

But to not get one mention from Swift in any of her acceptance speeches seems odd. Everyone knows they're dating and their relationship is very public, but it still seems weird that he didn't get one single "thank you" from the pop star icon.

One particular speech would've been a perfect spot.

“I would love to tell you that this is the best moment in my life,” Swift said. “But I feel this happy when I finished a song or when I cracked the code to a bridge that I love or when I’m shortlisting a music video or when I’m rehearsing with my dancers or my band or getting ready to go to Tokyo to play a show. For me, the award is the work.”

Swift is off to Japan to start her 2024 Eras Tour but is planning on returning to the States to join Kelce at Super Bowl LIII.
