Hit-and-Run Crash Traps 2 Victims Inside Vehicle in Florence Neighborhood of Los Angeles

FLORENCE, Calif., Apr. 2 (KNN) — Two people were left trapped after a traffic collision that involved a driver who fled the scene Monday night in the unincorporated Los Angeles neighborhood of Florence.

The Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Division patrol units responded to a two-vehicle collision shortly after 10 p.m. at the intersection of 85th Place and South Broadway.

Two patients were found trapped inside one of the vehicles and were extricated by the LAFD. Both were transported to the hospital in unknown condition.

The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene.

There are no further details at this time.
