For a bit of background — Bringing Down the Horse was released in 1996, and won The Wallflowers GRAMMY awards for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group and Best Rock Song with the hit single, “One Headlight.”

Set for October 2, 2024, the celebratory performance, taking place at the Palace Theatre in Los Angeles, marks the band’s first headlining performance in the city in over a decade. In addition to their performance of Bringing Down the Horse , The Wallflowers also plan to pay homage to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers by playing Long After Dark in full as well.

Speaking about the Los Angeles performance, lead singer Jakob Dylan said, “Coming back to LA after such a long time, we wanted to do something special and unique for our fans. We decided to play what seems to be our fans' favorite Wallflowers album, and for us, we wanted to play one of our favorite Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ records.”

Ticket pre-sale for the October 2 show begins Wednesday May 8 at 10AM PT / 1PM ET via Ticketmaster (use code SOUNDCHECK ), while general on-sale starts on Friday, May 10, at 10AM PT / 1PM ET.

Until then, The Wallflowers have a ton of other tour dates across the U.S. throughout the spring, summer and into fall. Check out the full schedule below, and get tickets — HERE .
