LA Sparks Announce Major Rickea Jackson News Ahead of Caitlin Clark Battle

On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Sparks, led by standout player Cameron Brink, are gearing up to take on the Indiana Fever for the second time in just five days. Both teams have one win each and are eager to secure a second victory. The matchup promises to be an intense battle as both teams strive to gain the upper hand and improve their standings.

Rickea Jackson, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft out of the University of Tennessee, is off to a roaring start to her professional career. In five games coming off the bench, she is averaging 9.8 points on 54.5% shooting and 2.4 rebounds in 23.2 minutes per game.

Prior to Tuesday's game, the Sparks took to social media to announce that Jackson will be making her first WNBA start against the Fever.

"Rickea gets her first start for the Sparks tonight."
