On June 2, 2024, Ben and J-Lo were photographed outside of a YMCA facility in Los Angeles. Page Six captured their kiss, and they seem to be air-kissing each other on the cheek rather than the lips. They were also seen walking side by side without holding hands. They were joined by Ben’s mother Anne Boldt and seemed to be in high spirits.

The sighting comes right after J-Lo canceled her This Is Me..Live tour. “Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends,” Live Nation said in a statement on May 31, 2024. The “On The Floor” singer addressed the cancellation on her newsletter OnTheJLo, “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.”

A source recently told Us Weekly, that her work habits made the Ben “worn down” by their marriage. “Jennifer had started ramping up her work commitments and prepping for her tour,” says the source. “She’s very focused on work and overextends herself.”

J-Lo and Ben met in 2001 on the set of their movie, Gigli , in which they played love interests. They started dating in 2002, around the time Ben also starred as the love interest in the music video for J-Lo’s song, “Jenny From the Block.”

In November 2002, Affleck proposed to J-Lo with a 6.1-carat pink diamond ring from Harry Winston, and the two got engaged. Two days before they were scheduled to tie the knot in September 2003, J-Lo and Affleck announced that they had postponed their wedding and eventually called it off.
