Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck & Jennifer Lopez Casually Reunite for a Blended Family Outing That Proves Insiders Right

Amid the ongoing rumors of Ben Affleck and wife Jennifer Lopez’s split, the duo and Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner reunited this weekend. They were spotted supporting Affleck and Garner’s son Samuel, 12, at a basketball game at a local YMCA on Sunday, where all three were dressed casually.

Photos obtained by the Daily Mail feature Garner in a tan sweater tucked into jeans and paired with a brown hat and brown loafers. The 13 Going on 30 star was photographed helping Samuel get into the car after the game.

The Argo star and the “Can’t Get Enough” singer were also at the game, with Affleck wearing a pink t-shirt and maroon jacket over jeans and Lopez in jeans and a black long-sleeved shirt. Affleck was wearing his wedding ring — but arrived separately for the event, and he and Lopez gave each other air kisses, per Page Six .

On Saturday, Affleck and Garner attended another one of Samuel’s games, per Daily Mail. (The exes’ other children Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15, were not pictured.) The Oscar winner had on a blue checkered button-down shirt over a white t-shirt and jeans and Garner wore a blue elephant sweater with jeans. They were walking with Samuel, who had a water bottle, a package of peanut butter M&Ms, and a basketball in his hands as he made his way to a car.

These outings seem to prove insiders right, who claimed that the Atlas star and Affleck are focused on their kids right now. A source told PEOPLE recently that the pair “still want to put the kids first. Jennifer and Ben have always been very family-oriented.”

The source dished that Ben and the Jens were all in attendance at Violet’s recent high school graduation. “The graduation was a big deal,” the source said, adding, “Jennifer wanted to celebrate it” despite the situation being “heartbreaking for her.”

Affleck and Lopez married in 2022, but have been reportedly living in separate houses since May. J. Lo, who is mom to 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex Marc Anthony, recently announced that she is cancelling her upcoming tour, writing on her OnTheJLo website : “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will be together again.” A statement by LiveNation added, “Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”

In theory, this career break should mean that Lopez has more time to attend basketball games, right? Only time will tell what her next move will be, but we won’t be surprised at all if she continues to put the kids first along with Affleck and Garner.
