    WATCH: The Game Speaks On His Absence From Kendrick Lamar’s Concert & His Ties To Drake

    Whether at the show or at home, folks couldn’t get enough of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Pop Out’ concert! While enjoying the iconic moment, several social media users noticed that The Game did not attend the event.

    Now, the West Coast rapper is addressing why he was absent.

    The Game Speaks On K. Dot’s Concert

    As The Shade Room previously reported, Kendrick Lamar had the West Coast cuttin’ up on Juneteenth at his ‘Pop Out’ concert. The award-winning rapper had The Forum shaking in Los Angeles as he headlined the three-hour alongside several surprise guests. The event also brought out some of LA’s most famous faces in music and sports.

    On Thursday night, the ‘How We Do’ rapper hopped on Instagram Live to speak about being absent from the monumental moment.

    “Kendrick do his sh** and what he did last night that sh** was amazing for the West Coast. I sat back and I watched it. I ain’t have to be there to think that the sh** was cool. I think its a dub for the Coast. I think that what K.Dot did for a lot of West Coast n***** last night was hard as f**k. I think it was hard and I think it was dope of him and big-hearted of him to do that.”

    The Game also spoke about the current status of his relationship with Drake . Fans of the Compton emcee know that he has a record with Drake titled, ‘100.’

    “As far as my relationship with Drake. Drake is my brother. I f**k with Drake. If I call Drake and I tell him I need this and or I need that, he gonna do it. My loyalty is with m**** f**** that’s loyal to me.”

    The ‘Hate It Or Love It’ musician further discussed Kendrick and Drake’s rap beef, noting that it emerged as one of the biggest feuds in hip hop, yet both artists fortunately survived.

    Meanwhile, on the night of the show, X users (formerly Twitter) were having a kiii about Game’s absence.

    Details On K. Dot’s Juneteenth Show

    As The Shade Room previously reported, Kendrick Lamar shut down The Forum in Los Angeles with his ‘Pop Out’ concert on Juneteenth.

    The Compton-bred rapper had the arena jumping as he popped out with several surprise guests. The iconic show included performances by Dr. Dre , Tyler The Creator , Dom Kennedy , Ty Dolla $ign , Roddy Rich , YG , Mustard & Friends , Schoolboy Q , Jay Rock , Steve Lacy , and Ab-Soul.

    Despite the surprise appearances, it was really K. Dot’s set that lit up the arena. The Grammy Award-winning musician spit some of his popular records and his diss tracks aimed at Drake. Kendrick started the show with his single, ‘Euphoria’ and later rapped ‘6:16 in LA,’ along with his verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s ‘ Like That.’

    What really set the night off and made the audience go crazy was the fact that he performed his chart-topping anthem, ‘Not Like Us’ five times.
