Kevin Costner Poses With 5 of His Kids on the Red Carpet

Kevin Costner 's latest red carpet appearance was a full-on family affair.

On Monday, June 24, the 69-year-old actor brought along five of his seven kids for the premiere of his new movie, Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1, a Western film that he both stars in and directed.

As seen in photos from the event held at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif., Costner looked like one proud dad as he smiled for the cameras while posing alongside his kids: Annie , 40, Joe , 36, Cayden , 17, Hayes , 15 and Grace , 14.

The whole family appeared to match an apparent color scheme, with Hayes and Cayden wearing classic black suits while Grace and Annie dressed in muted shades of yellow, blue and brown. Joe was sporting a navy blue suit, while Costner stood out in a clean beige suit with a white shirt underneath.

The Yellowstone alum 's daughter Lily , 37, and son Liam , 27, did not appear to be in attendance for Monday's premiere.

But Costner still looked overjoyed to be gaining support from most of his kiddos, including son Hayes, who appears in his dad's new film.

The father of seven recently revealed that his character in the script, Hayes Ellison, is actually the inspiration behind his own son's name. Costner began working on the script as early as 1988, and his now-estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner , welcomed Hayes in February 2009.

"I named him after the character I play in this. My character's named Hayes Ellison," Costner told Entertainment Tonight back in April, confirming, "And I named Hayes [after] that character."

"So I was watching him grow up and I was thinking, 'Man, I better get with it and make this movie!'" he further recalled. "So I captured him and I brought him on, and he's very good in this small part that he's done. If you see it, I think he has an impact on the movie."

Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 hits theaters on Friday, June 28, and will be followed by Chapter 2 seven weeks later on Friday, August 16.
