Lakers Rookie Bronny James Settles NBA GOAT Debate Between Father LeBron, Michael Jordan

    By Grant Young,

Bronny James was just selected with the No. 55 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers.

As a result, Bronny and his father, LeBron, just became the first father-son duo to play on the same NBA team together.

While there was a lot of speculation that the Lakers would be taking Bronny with this pick, the fact that it has now actually taken place is surreal.

And considering that he's now teamed up with his dad, it's a good thing that Bronny answered the way he did when playing a game of 'Start, Bench, Cut' in the weeks before getting drafted.

HouseofHighlights' Instagram account posted a video of Bronny and other NBA Draft prospects playing 'Start, Bench, Cut' on Thursday.

When Bronny was asked whether he'd start, bench, or cut Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant or LeBron James, it didn't take the newest member of the Los Angeles Lakers long to drum up an answer.

"Starting 'Bron, Imma bench Kobe, and then cut M.J.," Bronny responded.

It's almost as if Bronny knew in advance which NBA team was going to be drafting him.
