Pitt's Blake Hinson has a new home in Los Angeles, after the Lakers signed him to a two-way deal after the 2nd round concluded in the NBA draft.

Hinson finished 2024 with a season high in points per game (18.4), field goal percentage (45.1) and 3 point percentage (42.1).

It has already been quite the offseason for the Lakers. Firing Darvin Ham and then hiring JJ Reddick to be their new head coach. They selected Tennessee Volunteer Dalton Knecht in the first round of the draft and then picked Lebron James' son Bronny at pick 55.

The Lakers addressed shooting in this draft with the additions of Knecht and Hinson. Knecht shot 39% from the point line last season for the Volunteers.

For those that don't know what a two-way contract is, gleague.nba.com explains it:

"Players signed to Two-Way Contracts are paid one salary for their time in both leagues. Only players with three or fewer years of NBA service are able to sign Two-Way Contracts, which can be for either one or two seasons."
